L O C A L Rebirth. On the 7th of February, the villagers of Ritoma and representatives of Norlha visited the families of the deceased to donate towards the lighting of butter lamps, a contribution of merit towards their happy rebirth. Losar Celebrations. The 12th of February was the celebration of Losar. Families stayed up past 12:00am on the 11th to light lanterns outside their homes to welcome the coming of the new year. This was followed by prayers and a family breakfast. Horse Races.
