L O C A L 

On the 13th of November Norlha celebrated its 15th anniversary. The day saw the invitation of the local Lama, Lama Phuntsok who blessed the atelier and the artisans. The employees enjoyed a draw of Norlha gifts where up to 150 employees and their children each received a Norlha product. The day ended in a large feast and games. 

On the 18th November Ganden Namchoe was observed in Ritoma through the offering of lights, celebrating the anniversary of the enlightenment of Je Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Tibetan Gelukpa School of Tibetan Buddhism.On the 22nd of November the atelier observed a holiday as the nomads of Ritoma attended the ‘Torkya' or Ritual Cake Throwing Ceremony, a ritual meant to cleanse the air of any malevolent forces bent on creating obstacles during the coming year.
